The Findlay•Hancock County Women’s Leadership Forum will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, December 2 at The Findlay Country Club, 1500 Country Club Drive. The forum is open to all men and women business professionals looking for opportunities to advance their career.
Presented by Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield in partnership with the Findaly•Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, the forum was created to provide business leadership development, education and mentorship opportunities for professional women in the Findlay/Hancock County business community.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Julie Williamson-Wright, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Global Communications/Training Manager and Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, who will present "Authentic Leadership: It’s Not Business – It’s Personal." The keynote will focus on the value of authenticity, embracing uniqueness, and making "personal" investments that redefine success and provide the foundation for winning in business and in life.
Julie Williamson-Wright holds a degree in Technology Management from The University of Findlay, and is pursuing an Executive Masters of Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University. In her current position, Julie is responsible planning and executing global strategies to engage and train leaders, managers, and employees to prepare and adapt to major change initiatives. In addition, Julie is the owner of The Leading Source, where she develops and facilitates dynamic leadership presentations to a wide variety of organizations and audiences with the goal of engaging and inspiring people to make a difference in their personal and professional lives, as well as in the lives of others within their community.
Julie is an executive member of the American Management Association and a member of the American Society for Training & Development. She serves on the Leadership Team for the Hope House – Bridges Out of Poverty and has worked with the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Handbags that Help – Women's Giving Circle, and The United Way. She continues to be very active in the Findlay-Hancock County community and is the recipient of The American Business Women’s Association “Work Associate of the Year” award.

Margaret R. Goebel is an accomplished thought leader whose career focus is building strategy, design and implementation of talent management best practices. She holds a BA in Communications and has completed graduate coursework in adult learning at The Ohio State University. She is also the certified to deliver a selection of leadership and communication programs. Margaret draws on over 25 years of experience in leadership selection, performance management, career development, leadership learning and organizational change. In her current role with Strathman Associates, she works with clients as a Leader Coach, designing and facilitating learning to foster leadership, quality management and teamwork through communication excellence.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Beth Flynn, MS, Leadership Consultant and Trainer at the OSU Leadership Center, who will present“I am Woman – Watch Me Lead”. Flynn will challenge and encourage attendees with her discussion about the issues women face in the workplace, and how to overcome them: “The world needs great leaders, are you leading at your best?”
Beth holds a master's degree in Community and Human Resource Development from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio. Beth Flynn is an enthusiastic educator, facilitator, and trainer. With an emphasis on interactive learning, her researched-based programs focus on attitude, creativity, motivation and leadership styles. As a member of the Ohio State University Leadership Center team, Beth draws upon her knowledge and experience to help organizations improve employees' performance.

Jerianne Swierzewski holds a degree in economics from Carnegie-Mellon University, and a MA in economics from Northwestern University. Swierzewski taught economics, math, and statistics at the University of Maryland in their European Division for 14 months, and went on to do systems design, consulting, and sales for a computer timesharing company for 4 years. After that, she was with Target Stores Organization development, Buying, Purchasing for seven years, and then in Distribution Planning and Operations for 13. The last five years at the company Swierzewski served as VP of Regional Distribution. After leaving Target, she was C.E.O for a start-up, and ran supply chain for T-Mobile. Swierzewski has been with Best Buy for three and a half years.

Julie has worked with Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society, and continues to be very active in the Findlay-Hancock County community. She is also the recipient of The American Business Women’s Association “Work Associate of the Year” award.
